January 2, 1934 – July 26, 2025 It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we share the passing of Clement Temple on July 26, 2025, at the age of 91. A man of unwavering kindness, strong faith, and boundless love for his family, Clement leaves behind a legacy that will continue to echo through generations. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Dorcas and his siblings; Clement is now reunited with the love of his life, Doris, his beloved son Robert, his son-in-law Kevin and cherished grandson Brent. Though we are heartbroken by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he’s back with them, likely sharing a laugh once again. Born on January 2, 1934, Clement built a beautiful life alongside his beloved wife, Doris in Long Cove, NL. Together, they raised 8 children: Christine, Robert (Velma), Janice (Brian), Lois (Rick), Judy (Keith), Roger (Cathy), Wesley (Wanda), Jody (Nora). From their love, grew a vibrant and close-knit family that now includes 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Clement and Doris were the heart of it all – a true partnership that showed everyone around them what love, commitment, and family really mean. Their marriage was full of laughter, music, resilience, and tenderness. Whether dancing in the kitchen or quietly supporting each other through life’s trials, they showed us the kind of love that lasts a lifetime. Clement was the anchor at every gathering, the chef for every occasion, and the voice of every celebration. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on July 10th, age 96 years. Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Mildred Smith, two sisters Marion (Lloyd) Barrett, Susie (James) Mercer. Six brothers Eugene (Mary), Cyril (Evelyn), Jacob (Thelma), Kenneth (Mildred), Ernest (Julia), and Norman (Bernice). Leaving to mourn two sisters Viola (Cyril deceased) and Muriel (Stirling deceased). 1 brother Winston (June). Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives, also many friends through a long teaching career and an active church work. Resting at The Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norman’s Cove. Visitation on Monday July 14th from 2 – 4 pm. Funeral service on Tuesday July 15th at 2 pm. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Norman’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Good Shepherd Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
