MURPHY, Michael Gerard, Passed away suddenly on April 30, 2012 a beloved son, partner, brother and uncle, Michael Gerard Murphy of Chapel Arm, age 41 years.
Predeceased by his father Michael ( 2007 ).
Leaving to mourn mother, Helena, loving partner and best friend, Linda Kerfont,
brothers, Karl(Lori) Murphy, Russell (Natasha) Murphy, sisters, Colleen (Jeff) Collett, Lana (Cordell) Callan, Claudine (Colin) Newhook, Helen Murphy(George Power), Nieces, Sara, Mackenzie, Oliva and Brooke, nephews, Tyler and Carson. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Holloway`s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, May 4 at 11:00 am from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Chapel Arm. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Long Harbour Road.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Holy Family Elementary School and Community Playground Project (www.chapelarm.ltbk.ca).

So sorry about Mike. I can't imagine how you are all coping through this enormous loss. Colleen I feel as if I knew Mike as you always talked about him and your family. I know he had a special place in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. I am sure you will treasure your many memories of him.

| I am shocked and so very saddened to hear the news of Mike's sudden passing.
Mike was a very endearing person who left an imprint on the hearts of all who knew him. I will always remember his gentle demeanor, kind heartedness, and all the admirable qualities that made Mikey the special person he was.
My heart aches for his partner, his family, and his many friends. This loss is unbelievable and unbearable.
Larry and I are visiting family in Calgary and regret not being there with you all. Please know that our hearts are there.
Sincere and heartfelt condolences to all of you from both of us. We will hold all of you in our prayers. He will live on in our hearts forever. |
