    Passed peacefully away at the age of 75 at the Health Science Centre on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, Mary Elizabeth Smith of Chapel Arm.
    Predeceased by her parents Mary Ellen Smith and William Dominic Smith; her brothers William Jr., Vincent, Maurice, and Edward (Ned) Smith.
    Leaving to mourn her loving daughter Brenda Anstey (Jim), Grandchildren Thomas and Mary. Brother Jack (Margaret); daughter-in-law’s Diane and Florence Smith; her two Fur-Babies (cats) Buddie (deceased) and Tigger; and our dog Brodie. Also a large circle of extended family and friends.
    Resting at Holloways Funeral Home in Whitbourne, 33A Cabot Avenue.
    Visitation on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
    Funeral Service (due to COVID restrictions, by invitation only) will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Long Harbour Road.

    Vax Pass and contact information will need to be presented upon entry
    of the funeral home. Masks are mandatory at all times.

    Brenda and family: We are so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. We just got to know her (she shared a room with Janet), she was a joy to chat with. Our deepest condolences go out to you and your family.
