  • Lockyer, Rita M.  April 15, 1946 – June 9, 2022.  It is with great love and grief that the family of the late Rita Lockyer announce her passing on Thursday, June 09, 2022 at  Carbonear Hospital. Predeceased by husbands Bill and George. Parents John and Madeline Legge. Sister Frannie and brother-in-law Ralph, nephew Barry, brother John.

     

    Leaving to mourn sisters; Valerie (Jim deceased), Vina (Lloyd),  Annie (Ted),  Brothers: Raymond (Sandra), Albert (Elaine),  George (Barb), Freeman (Irene).Sisters-in-law:  Emma, Madonna, Mondella and Jane. Brothers-in-law: Rex and Alfred.  and also many dearly loved Nieces and Nephews and friends.

     

    Visitation on Tuesday, June 14, 2022  at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Little Harbour East from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral  Service will be at2:00 pm. Committal  at St. Andrew’s  Anglican Cemetery, Little Harbour East. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St.  Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery Fund.

    Mask not mandatory but recommended.

    Was a shock to hear of Rita's passing , Although us down here will always miss and think about her I am sure Uncle George is happy to have her with him again.I have many memories of Rita from visits , telephone conversations and pictures I have of her. Deepest Condolences to her Sisters and Brothers who she spoke of often . Rest In Peace Rita ...Never forgotten .
