    May 28, 1941 – September 15, 2022
    It is with much love and broken hearts the family of Donald Warren wish to announce his peaceful passing at Carbonear General Hospital on the morning of September 15, 2022 surrounded by his family.
    Predeceased by parents Noah and Pheobe Warren, parents in law Robert and Mary Elizabeth Reid, brothers Hughie and Leslie, brothers in law Raymond, Tommy, Kenneth, Thomas sister in law Jennie.
    Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life his devoted wife of 59 years Ida; his 2 children Ronnie (Jackie), and Sheila Smith (Neville); 4 granddaughters Robyn Warren (Bryton), Melany Warren (Gary), Nicole Oliver (Christopher), and Danielle Penney (Sam); 3 great grandchildren, Emma, Ian, and Julia; brother Melvin Warren (Trudy), sister Pearl Smith (Ben), sister’s in law Glynes Warren and Cora Reid, brothers in law Ron Reid (Brenda), Bob Reid (Ruth), and Perry Reid, sisters in law Shirley Howell, Patricia Humby (Steve), Sylvia Reid (Roger), Cathy Reid, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
    Visitation will take place at St. John the Baptist Church, Chapel Arm on Saturday September 17th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
    Funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Sunday, September 18th at 2pm, with internment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Long Harbour Road.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Care Foundation Patient & Family Support Fund, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL A1B 3V6.

    We want to send our deepest sympathies. He was like a brother to Ron and I. We will miss his smile and warm demeanour. We always felt welcome in your home. You made my mom,s vacation a time to remember. Ida we are sending you so much love and hugs. We will talk soon. Our Love also to Ronnie and Sheila and their families.     I am sending my profound condolences on the death of my cousin Don to his wife Ida and family.Don had a strong influence on my life when I was a teenager in Ontario and growing up in Newfoundland.He was there for me when my Mom passed. I always thought very highly of him. May you Rest in Peace Don.

    My condolences to Ida,Melvin and Pearl and all friends and family. I am proud to say I considered the entire family as good friends, neighbors and distant relatives. Don was exceptionally special and he married and loved one of the most beautiful ladies in Trinity Bay. Many Many happy memories ❤️❤️❤️
