    March 22, 1967 – June 17, 2022

    Eleanor passed away peacefully at the age of 55 years at Northern Lights Regional Hospital in Fort McMurray, Alberta in the presence of her good friend, Bobbi Morgan and family.
    Predeceased by parents, Margaret and Gordon Piercey; sister, Ivy Piercey Sorenson; and brother, Lindsay Piercey.
    Leaving to mourn her fur baby, Sasha (the pride and joy of her life); sisters, Frances (Peter, deceased); Clara (Dave) Moores; Kathleen (Pete) Hopkins; Irene (Shawn) Piercey; brothers, Clifford (Bonnie) Piercey; and Leo (Rosie) Piercey. Also, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends here in NL and Fort McMurray, Alberta.
    Thank you to the Compton family of Fort McMurray for being her special neighbors and friends for the last 22 years.
    Cremation has taken place.
    Visitation and service of remembrance to take place at Holloways Funeral Home, Whitbourne, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM with inurnment to follow at Bethel United Cemetery, Norman’s Cove.

    Eleanor was a great person and teammate. She was a part of one the greatest leadership teams I was ever a part of. Her laugh was contagious her ability to keep the rest of us in line are things I will never forget. You were gone way too soon Eleanor, rest easy.xo

    To Eleanor’s family I am praying you hold on to the good cherished memories of younger days and lots of fun times .Eleanor had shared many stories of her visits back home. May she be resting peacefully surrounded by her loved ones that have passed . She was a very dear friend and confidant. Heartbreaking she has left us but I will keep her close to heart , much love and peace to you all as you are going through the sadness
