It is with heavy hearts that the family of Andrew Norman from Long Harbour, Newfoundland announce his passing on August 10, 2026 at the age of 95.
Andrew was a man of remarkable strength and determination. He will be forever remembered for his thoughtfulness, “Norman Humour” and ability to tell a great story. He loved fishing, hunting, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
Above all, Andrew adored his wife of 60 years, Lucy. Their journey together was filled with love, laughter, cherished memories, and the joys and challenges of a lifetime. Their marriage was a true example of commitment and devotion. Together they raised a beautiful family.
He was the loving father to three sons; Terry (Lee-Anne), Loyola (Penny) and Stephen (Connie) and one daughter Marie (Scott), and a very proud Grandfather “Pop” to nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
His family was his greatest legacy, and the love he gave them will continue through every generation.
A private family service will be held to honour and celebrate his life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andrew’s memory to The Ronald MacDonald House.
