Brendan Keating

Brendan Keating Born February 7, 1957 Passed away August 3, 2026

It is with great sadness the family of Brendan Keating announce his passing on monday August 3rd. Formly from Mt. Arlington Hgts, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by his father Patrick, sister Sharon, brother Shawn, nephew Danny, and niece Kelly. Leaving to mourn his mother Genny, sisters Paulette (Wayne), Mona (Barry), Patsy, and Elexis (Dave). Brothers Wayne (Marie), Morris (Sheila), Darrell, John (Wanda), and Paddie (Trish).

Special thanks to the staff at Westberry Estates Retirement Living where he was a resident for the last few years. Thanks to HSC who tried their best to save him, many thanks to Ken and Nancy of  the NLAD Community Support whose been with Brendan for many years.

Brendan has been cremated. A celebration of life and burial will take place at a later date.

  2. To My Dear Keating family, relatives and Deaf community. My condolences to the family. I had a good memories of Brendan and friend and I had a good talk, lots of laughs. I met Brendan last two year ago and excited see me and long conversation. I was going to visit him Aug 9,2026 but just found out he passed away. I will miss him and rest in peace.

  3. Condolences to Genny and the Keating family. I always loved the smile from Brendan whenever I was around him. I hope heaven is a place where he can hear and sing.

Will always have a special place for him in my heart because we spent so much time together, I learned sign language because he asked me to one night and we had a lot of great conversation because of that. I will always smile when I hear his name because that’s what he made me do and alot of others also. Rest easy my friend.🫂🙏
