  • DYKE, Annie Louise, It is with great sadness that our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister and Aunt Annie Louise Dyke passed peacefully away at the H.S.C., St.John’s on Friday, January 6th, 2017, in her 95th year. She is predeceased by her  husband, William, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

    Leaving to fondly remember her amazing life are her daughters; Nora (Junior), Whitbourne, Enid (Howard), New Zealand,  5 grandchildren; Paul (Philly), Gander, LynnAnn, Whitbourne, Heather (Daryl), Halifax, Kyle,  Edmonton, Amy (Luke), Australia. Her beautiful 2 great-grandchildren, Rachel and Erica, Halifax. Her only surving sister Nora Bradey, Eastport. Special mention to her nieces and nephews; Audrey Penny, Patricia and Steve Cooney, Joyce and Lee Greeley, Gloria Moss, Rev. Jacinthia Penney and Jonathan Penney

    Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Sunday and Monday 2:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.

    Our thoughts and memories are with you all at this time with the passing of your mother. We have fond memories of our times together with your mom and dad at some of the social times during council gatherings and other get togethers on special occasions.She was a wonderful lady we will always remember.

    ITo: Nora,Enid and families: With a heavy heart and much sadness I received the news of the passing of my long time great adorable friend Louise. I know in the past little while she has been having health issues and its comforting to know that she is not suffering anymore. She is in a peaceful and quiet place reunited with her beloved husband Bill. Enid and Nora I now you are going to miss her but the love she had for her family will forever keep her alive in your heart, thoughts and soul. Almy l the good times we shared together, myself and Fred, Louise and Bill, and our families will forever be in my memory. Myself and my family are thinking of you today with sympathy and condolence.     To the family of Louise Dyke. I am sorry to hear of her passing. I am sorry I was unable to attend the funeral. I have good memories of visiting her at Karwood Manor and we shared a lot of memories and had good chats together. My thoughts and parayers are with you in your time of grieving.
