Rarely have I had an extended association with someone without finding reason to criticize. Such was my experience with Melvin and the reason I always respected him. As childhood classmates and later as teenage roommates, we indulged in activities that tickled our fancy and left us in stitches. We needed no prompting to reminisce each time our paths intersected.

Dear Theresa, I was very sadden to hear of Melvin's sudden passing. I knew Melvin mostly on a professional level through Provincial Elections, especially the last one. We spent a lot of time strategizing and planning, I learned so much from him. He spoke of his family with such pride and love, especially you Theresa. I would hope my husband talks of me like he did of you in 30 years time. Theresa, I am very sorry for your loss. I send me heart filled sympathies to you and your family. Jessica
