  • Passed peacefully away on March 29th 2018 at Placentia Hospital, Arlene Jean Thorne ( Mowatt) age 81 years of Thornlea. Predeceased by parents James and Edna Mowatt. Brothers Billy and Edward. Sister Lena Donahue. Son James Thorne. Daughter in law Deborah Thorne.

     

    Leaving to mourn husband of 60 years Fred Thorne Sr. Son Fred Thorne Jr (Eliz). Granddaughters Justine, Holly and Abby. Grandson Travis. Sister Isabella King(Ont). Brother in law Tom Donahue (Ont). Nephews Doug King (Geraldine). Tommi  Donahoe  (Nanci). Nieces Barb(Frank Bigl) (Alb) and family. Lily Thorne (Thornlea) and family. Christine Donahoe (Ont). Great nieces Katlyn and Megan King (Ont). Also many other relatives and friends.

     

    Special thanks to the nurses at Placentia Hospital for the care they provided also the staff at BeachSide Manor Placentia. Cremation has taken place . Visitation Monday 1 pm-4 pm. Funeral service Tuesday April  3rd at 11:30 am at Holloway’s Funeral Home Whitbourne. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of ones choice. Lovingly remembered, forever missed.
