  • Passed peacefully away on January 5th, 2019 at the Placentia Hospital, Frederick Thorne Sr. age 95 years of  Thornlea. Predeceased by wife of 60 years  Arlene. Son James. Daughter-in-law Deborah. Leaving to mourn with loving memories son Fred Thorne Jr (Eliz). Grand daughters; Justine (Clint), Holly (Kendra) and Abby. Grandson Travis. Sisters-in-law; Isabella King, Ont. Lucy Thorne, Ont. Gladys Thorne.Nieces, Barb (Frank Bigl), AB. and family, Lily Thorne, Thornlea and family, Christine Donahoe, Ont. Nephews, Doug King (Geraldine) and family, Ont. Tom Donahoe (Nanic), Ont.  Also Special friend Rita Button. Also many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at the Beachside Manor, Placentia for the care they provided, also the doctors and nurses at the Placentia Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne on Friday, January 11th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Funeral service at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 12th, 2019  at Holloway’s Funeral Home.
