There are no words to console right now, but in time the pain will lessen. She will always be with you in spirit. I’m so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. I never met Marilyn personally but we’ve talked on the phone quite a few times. It was quite evident how loving, caring and thoughtful Marilyn was. She heard from a mutual relative that I too had peritoneal metastasis and scheduled for surgery in Halifax. She wanted to learn more so she could ask her oncologist about it. I was really hoping she would get stronger so the surgery could have been an option for her too. When I came back from Halifax, she called me several times asking me how I was doing. She was all concerned about me and there she was, so much more sick. That showed me her true character...how caring she truly was. The last time we spoke was in December. She wished me all the best and have a merry Christmas and a healthy new year. I said the same back. I wish I had the opportunity to have met your wife and your Mom. She has left a lasting impression on me. I will miss her friendly voice. Fly with the angels my friend

Max and family Shocked and saddened to hear of Marilyn’spassing. I’ve know her for many years since working with Max and always found her so gentle and kind. When I last saw her she spoke of you all and how proud she was of you especially the grandchildren. We know your hearts are broken but she’s free from pain and resting in her eternal home. To Max and Family; It was so sad to hear about Marilyn's passing, but relieved to know that all her pain and suffering has ended. I have many precious memories of our year we spent together at the College of Trades where we both studied for a bookkeeping course and also we shared the same boarding house with the Percy's on Portugal Cove Road. Marilyn was such a loving and caring friend. Rest in Peace my friend!! Max, may God give you the strength and courage to face each and every tomorrow.
