  • DAY, Olive Mary (Morash ), January 18, 1926 – February 10, 2019 – Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, in the presence of her loving family, Olive Mary Day (nee Morash) of South Dildo, aged 93 years.  Predeceased by husband Boyd; sons Baxter and Clyde; grandson Michael Morash; great grandson Baby Matthew Mercer; and brother, French Morash.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children, George (Edwina), Phyllis (Don), Linda (Roland), Curt (Trudy); 10 grandchildren, Glendon, Kim (Jamie), Jason (Cheryl), Tara (Trevor), Natasha (Danny), Carolyn (Corey), Amanda, Kirk, Cindy, Cathy; 12 great grandchildren, Shannon, Victoria, Nathan, Iesha, Shea, Jacob, Sofia, Mary-Kate, Dylan, Rhys, Varity, Nia, Sam; great great grandchild, Nevaeh; sisters, Linda Janes and Margaret Cooper; brother Donald (Lillian); sisters-in-law, Myra Morash, Elizabeth Brinston, Elsie Carpenter; brother-in-law, Lawrence Day (Rosalie); as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne.  Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 12th 10am to 12, 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm.  Wednesday February 13th from 10 am – 1pm.  Funeral service will take  place on Wednesday, February 13th, at 3pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Dildo.  Internment at St. Francis Cemetery, South Dildo.  Flowers gratefully accepted as she loved them so much. ” A Mother’s Love is a Blessing”.

    Words cannot express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of Aunt Olive. Please accept my condolences. I know God has her in a special place where she will be watching us, the people who loved and cherished her. Much love
