There are no words to say how sorry Don and I are to all of you. To say he was a great man doesn't say nearly enough. From mine, Billy and Brian's childhood, to my own children, we all had a story about George, one that always finished with his big ole laugh. Thank you for sharing such a special man xx

I was saddened to hear of George's passing. I had the great pleasure of working with George for his last couple of years with the Forest Service, and I doubt if I've ever met a nicer man. I always looked forward to chatting with him when he was at the Paddy's Pond office and considered him a good friend. He will be missed by all the Forestry staff that had the pleasure of working with him.
