  • It is with great sadness we announce the passing of my beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law and aunt Ada Lillian Vatcher (nee Hurley). May 16, 1950 – April 04, 2022

    Predeceased by mother & father William Sr. and  Sarah Drover (Hurley/Harris). Sister’s Kathleen (Gary), Rose (Louis), Martha (Jim). Brother’s William (Lillian), Harold (Laura), Clifford, Frederick & Cynthia Hurley.    step-father  Raymond Harris, mother & father-in-law Leah & Thomas Vatcher, sister’s  -in-law Sarah & Melvin Cooper, Carrie & Henry Vokey, Mona Harris. Brother’s-n-law Thomas & Gilbert Vatcher.  Niece Ina Cooper Browne.

    Leaving to mourn her best friend & husband of 50 years Kenneth. Daughter’s Florence (Keith), Sarah (Jeannette),  son Tommy (Valerie). Her 2 most precious grandchildren Angel & Jordan Vatcher. sister Winnie, Brother Wayne (Mary), Freddie Norman (Molly), sister’s-in-law Janet Vatcher & Joan Hurley, nephew Fred Cooper & niece Joyce Vatcher who have been her rock through everything. Special friends Darrell(Rhonda) Clarke. Merdick & Sadie Pitcher, Graham & Betty Mugford, Ginger & Martel Culleton & Jessica Day. Along with many nieces, nephews & friends whom she adored. 

    Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home , Whitbourne. Visitation Friday, April 8,  10:00 am – 12:00 noon, 2:00 – 5:oo pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Saturday, April 9, 10:00 am-12:00 noon, 2:00- 5:00 and 7:oo – 9:oo pm. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday,  April 10, 2022  at2:00 pm from  St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. 

    No flowers by request of the family. Donations  can be made  in memory of Ada Vatcher  c/o Kenneth Vatcher.

    At the request of the family mask are to be worn at all times at the Funeral Home.

    It is with sadness that I say goodbye to my long-time friend Ada Vatcher and send my condolences to her family and friends Fly high with the Angels Ada and make them laugh as you did with me. You will be missed. RIP dear friend.
