William Henry Peddle December 3, 1931 – January 1, 2023
Passed peacefully away at Carbonear Hospital in his 91st year William Henry Peddle. Predeceased by his loving wife of 69 years Violet Sisley (nee Clarke), brothers, Melehon, Dola, Robert and sisters Annie, Florizel (Floss) and Margaret.Fondly remembered by daughters – Dorothy (Kenneth), Vivian (Brian), and sons, William Jr. (Judy), Wallace (Donna), Angus (Beverlee), Derek (Sharon), Rodney (Katrina), Darryl (Bonnie), and grandchildren, Kimberly, Kenneth Jr., Katherine, Kandice, Wallace Jr., Dylan, Pauline, Tammy, Danika, Brittany, Joshua, Courtney, Keegan, Ethan, Charlee along with several great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law Robert and Silas, care workers Teddie and Bob and a large number of relatives and friends.

you every single day.

Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne.

Visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 7-9:00pm. and Wednesday, January 4, 2023, 10am – 12:00pm, 2:00-5:00 pm, 7:00-9:00 pm. Family request mask to be worn.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm from the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Whitbourne. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Whitbourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Epilepsy Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sending deepest condolences to Will’s family, may you find peace in the long life he enjoyed and his being with your mom again, holding you all in my prayers as I look back over the years and the memories of many hours of family and laughter….there were lots of those and I do treasure them! RIP Pops!

We are so saddened to hear of uncle Will’s passing.Myself and mom(annie Fitzpatrick) loved him dearly.I will miss him dearly especially when I pass Tim’s in whitbourne.I would purposely stop In there on my way to St’johns just to see if he was there to get him a Tim’s card for his coffee..lol..I will miss him and his gentle smile..Forever in our hearts..Love you uncle Will..

  7. So sorry to hear of the passing of this wonderful and kindhearted man. I got to know this man through his four sons, Bill, Angus, Wally and Derek. We all played hockey together and had the most memorable and amazing fun times. I learned that the boys got their love of hockey and crazy sense of humour from their father. A true Maple Leaf has fallen. You will be missed sir.

  14. So very sorry to hear about your loss, I would make a point of going to see your Father every time I was on vacation from Ontario. He always had a joke for me and a lot of laughs. I will definitely miss our visits.

  15. I am so sorry for your family’s loss. I was fortunate to see Uncle Will in September at Tim Hortons. Had a good laugh with him and grateful to have that last memory of him ❤️

  21. My sincere condolences to the Peddle family. We thought very highly of Mr Peddle. Had many coffees with him and really enjoyed his humour, his stories and his company. We will miss his warm greetings when we visit his favourite coffee hang out in Whitbourne. May God love and bless him. Prayers and hugs for all who knew and loved him.
